Poor service and money making ****

Hello Peter,

I bought a Renault Triber last year on the 25/06/2020 at Vereeniging before they move to Vanderbijlpark, everything was fine until I got a problem with the battery. It started on the month of April and i took it in for check up and I was told it drained and that I shouldn't play music while it's not in motion, okay I took it as it is but I don't use that car for that and the sound it's not for music. Weeks past and again I took it back and I was told they'll check it thoroughly but still they charged it only luckily it was about to reach the first service for it. It went and came back and on the check list it was ticked as it is okay.

I've been struggling with this battery to such an extent that I took it in without an appointment and it will charged and i had to take it as it is, now my problem is I bought a new car thinking that i won't face such horrible experience with it. Mind you I have to push this car before it starts and sometimes i need to leave it idling because i know it won't start if i switch it off. I'm working 7 days in 7 days off, i explained how and when do i use this car for.

I got tired of going back and forth with this battery and last time being in June and i contacted the customer care and i was helped by Stephen. He was for ever updating me with everything and booked my car again for an entirely checkup so I took it in just before the looting starts and i was told to come fetch it as they will rebook it again for check up, u must remember then i 'm still struggle with it. On the 17/07/2021 it was taken in and still charged and took it back and this time now it didn't took me long and I contacted Stephen again explained to him the situation i'm in.

He told me that a new battery needs to be fitted on my car but he needs to take it up with the managers and it was on the 25/07/2021. Then yesterday (30/07/2021) I got a call from him informing me that my car is not on warranty anymore so i need to buy myself a new battery. I told him that this car it didn't start this problem after the warranty ended and that it was long overdue now that the warranty is over they are telling me that I need to buy a new battery so it means that they were stalling this matter until the warranty past.

Please help

Regards, Moses
