Poor quality material.

I recently purchased a 2016 Renault Kwid with 42000km and 3year balance of manufacturer warranty. I noticed rust on the vehicle and took the vehicle to my local dealership for warranty claim of which I am awaiting feedback. Whilst doing the inspection with the dealership and the panel beater, I noticed that all the door rubbers have deteriorated and torn. I inquired with the agent so as to load warranty claim at the same time as the rust but was told that they wouldn't bother with the claim as they have done so before and the claim was declined with explanation that door rubbers are a wear and tear item due to constant in and out of vehicle. I question how this is possible with such a new / low mileage vehicle. In addition, I inspected another 5 Kwids on the dealership floor for sale with km's ranging from 15000km to 45000km. All vehicles showed the same signs of deterioration of door rubbers. I have logged a query with customer service warranty department but have not received feedback as yet. I have just become a Renault Customer, I don't even have my new number plates as yet and already I am wondering if Renault was the right choice. I previously had a 2008 Hyundai Atos which I drove for 5 years, had 167000km on the clock and no problems with door rubbers. I am also a Fleet Manager and have dealt with many different brands. I have never seen this kind of deterioration. This is definitely not wear and tear, this is poor quality material. How can Renault justify such as wear and tear. So once again, we the customers spend a lot of money (and eagerly get sold the product) but get stuck with problems, no service to resolve and cop out excuses.
