Pathetic service at Renault
Please kindly assist with my query below.
My car was fixed in Kempton Park last week. On my way to work on Monday, it gave me a warning sign that I must check the engine. I quickly went to the closest branch in Midrand. The technician removed the warning sign and also mentioned that the car is overheating as the water is leaking. I advised him that the lid was changed last week, he said my car needs 1.4 lid as 1.1 does not have enough pressure. The technician advised me to go back to Kempton Park as my car was fixed there, and they would have to charge me if they open a new file for me. I went to Kempton Park yesterday and they said they need a report from Midrand showing all the findings on the car. They also need confirmation that the warning sign was there and removed by the branch. I am in Midrand branch now and they can't provide me with the report as there was no job card done. They are saying KemptonPark must check on dialogist and they can find the records.
I am sick and tired of this run around. The warranty could not approve and I paid a lot of money. I am now uncomfortable driving this car as I do not know what else is going to break.
Please assist before the car gets more damaged.
Thank you.

My car was fixed in Kempton Park last week and not Midrand. Yesterday morning, I went to Midrand as I was closer to that branch. Yes, they do not have the record of the car but they checked it and put it in the machine and also confirmed that the car is overheating due to leaking car.
They also removed the warning sign on my dashboard. Sent from my Huawei phone

On the 22nd of October I dropped my car at Renault Kempton Park for repairs. After examining it they picked up that the pencil coils were melted as it was overheating. The warranty refused to approve my claim, and I had to pay cash for all the parts that needed to be replaced. The car was fixed and I collected it last week Monday the 1st of December. In less than a week, my car is giving me problems. On my way to work this morning, the car started showing the sign that I must check the engine. So, I drove to the Midrand branch as it is closer to work and the technician who assisted me told me that the water is leaking and that the water tank was supposed to be replaced and not just the lid. Also, the lid that was replaced at Kempton Park is 1.1 and car needed 1.4 as it has more pressure. I reached out to the service advisor at Kempton Park, and she told me that when I collected the car last week, they did advise me that should the car overheat, I will have to change the engine. Can you please advise on what I should do , clearly the fault was not fixed, and I paid a lot of money for this to be happening.
