Not sure how to feel.
So I go to renault to have my wheel alignment fixed since I hit a pothole. The first lady I spoke to was nice and goes to an extent of finding out what my problem was and even confirms with a gentleman who works in the service center. Then after figuring out what I need to do she sends me to another lady so she can assist me. That lady didn't even want to hear me out or help me. She quickly dismissed me and said I must call my insurance and I must book an appointment without listening. After I had made a few calls to other renault dealers being Melrose, the Glen and East rand I was told that it is a simple fix I just need to go to a wheel repair center and they will fix it for me easy and without any harm to my warranty. Without bringing race to the issue I got far better service on the phone and from the black consultants than I did from the white lady who instead of doing her job and listening to me and pointing me to the right direction she just simply dismissed me. This being the most recent incident. I had another incident with a white guy from fourways who only helped me with the screaming brake pads after I threw a fit. The pattern I am starting to realize is that the black staff is trained differently from the white staff. They have been super efficient and super helpful and easy to approach. Whereas going to the white staff is becoming a daunting task. Coming from super friendly service going to those guys is a nightmare. They just ruin your day with attitude and they are super dismissive.
