Not doing what I asked

I took my car in to Renault Menlyn for a service and asked them to fix two things. When they called me, I went to go pick up my car. When I got there they told me that one of the things I asked to be fixed was not, because it didn't fall within warranty.

This puzzled me, why not call me to quote me on the price and ask for go ahead. I've had to make three trips between the dealership and my house, going for my fourth in a few minutes.

Don't let your Renault go outside of service plan.
