No solution to failing navigation system

Within days after buying my Sandero I upgraded the maps on the navigation system, as per owners manual. From that day onwards my unit would "freeze" intermittently, resulting in me having to drive the rest of the trip without any radio, navigation, Bluetooth phone, etc. The only way to clear the error is to switch the car off for a minute or so and then restart.

I took the car in to Fourways about a month ago. They did a reset of the entire system but no change. Though I reported this the very next day, I have not heard from them to date.

A subsequent call to the Renault helpline did not yield much more success as an initial attempt to spinning me a story (not realising that I am qualified) was then followed by a "we will investigate". Case number 4- ********** 7

In total, I have now owned a brand new car without the benefit of the navigation AND a radio that freezes up every day and Renault appears to be indifferent when it comes to finding a solution.

All I am asking for is either a software upgrade or a new unit.
