I haven't had very good after sale-experience with Renault.
I bought my vehicle in May 2018 and it was sold to me with a 'full service history'. As the car is still under warranty, I was advised to purchase a service plan (the car has to be serviced at Renault dealers / Renault-approved dealers whilst under warranty, other wise some claims might not be paid out). I bought the service plan as well.
When I took my car in for its 45000km service, it became apparent that it should have its 60000km service. But there is no record of the 45000km service being done (this was supposed to happen Sep 2017 when I was not yet the owner of the car).
I followed up with Renault Tokai where I bought the vehicle and was told they are in contact with the dealer who they bought the car from to get the proof of service. When I did not hear from them again I followed up - 3 times. I have not heard anything yet.
If the car was serviced I want proof of this and would like to arrange that it's indicated in the service book. If not, I want to know what impact this has on the warranty as I cannot be held liable for the missed service given that the car did not belong to me at that time yet.
Please advise.
