Misleading WhatsApp message from Renault SA

I received the following WhatsApp message from Renault:

Your loyalty means the world to us, and we want to show our appreciation in a BIG way! Claim your exclusive R500 Loyalty Voucher NOW and make your next service or repair an absolute breeze. Book online by selecting https://bit.ly/417y9Su or contact your nearest dealership now! T&C apply

I understand that it says T&C apply but the wording is wrong because now I am happy that I am getting a discount voucher to the value of R500. It is only when you click on the link where it states the following:

*New Voucher Claimed*

R500 Loyalty discount offer Claim your Loyalty R500 discount on invoices greater than R2000 excl. Only applicable when servicing or doing maintenance work at a Renault dealership. Voucher code: gty87 Value: R0

So if I do not spend R2000 excl then I do not qualify for the R500 discount. So their message stating that my loyalty means the world to them and that they want to show me their appreciation in a big way, is wrong and misleading. They should have put it in the original message that it’s only applicable when you spend R2000 excl. The message says T&C apply. How am I supposed to know what does T&C mean? Why don’t they write it fully as Terms & Conditions apply? I don’t think that a layman would understand what T&C apply means. I called the customer care and the gentleman I spoke to said they informed the technical team to correct the wording as they are aware that the message is worded wrong. He told me that I won’t qualify if I don’t spend more than R2000 excl and he apologised for any inconvenience. I need to replace my brake pads on my Renault and it’s R1300 for the brake pads without fitting and if it has to be fitted I’m sure the labour will not more than 3 hours. I am still waiting for Renault to send me a quotation on how much the labour will be for replacing the brake pads since 14 February 2024.
