KEY DISPUTE - RENAULT KWID - VREDENBURG BRANCH

I recently purchased a Renault Kwid for my daughter. There was only one key and the salesman advised that he will acquire the second set. When he advised me that the key is ready for programming, I was given a key with no remote function, which isn't helping my daughter with a small baby in today's age of kidnappings and hijackings. The salesman, Gustav from Haval Malmesbury was not asked which key he prefers when ordering this key from Renault. And now we believe the remote key is cheaper than the standard key. It doesn't make sense why this option wasn't put forward to him when ordering it. The spare key I have now means nothing for us. I am really annoyed with Renault and will definitely take this further. You would think, as this was their mistake by not asking which of the two key types we need, that the franchise would carry the loss (all companies makes provision for losses), yet they would prefer to argue with me. The guy that the salesman spoke to, no longer works there. Sooooo....surely the Dealer Principal takes responsibility of the actions of his staff!!
