Fuel gauge behaviour when filling up. Useless car software

Yesterday while on vacation in Johannesburg from Cape Town, I was on 1/4 tank of petrol and I asked for them to fill up. It took 42.9 litres and R900+... if the Captur has a 45 litre tank capacity that means that gauge was already incorrect before I filled up and could have got stuck if I didn't fill up when I did.

Now apparently it's MY fault because I reset the counters while they will filling up.

How dumb is your cars software.

Now at your Roodepoort branch I have to ****** pay R977+ for diagnosis and even though the car is still under warranty I might have fork out more.

This is absolute BS and I WILL getting rid of it if this happens again.

Put a ****** warning then on the dashboard if tank lid open, we the hell reads the entire manual, stop being idiots.

I complained about my previous Captur where the fuel used indicator made not sense based on the fuel gauge.

I'm definitely posting this nonsense on all platforms!
