FRUSTRATED - RENAULT AND KIA SERVICE TYGERVALLEY (STIKLAND BRANCH)
I am done with Renault
I am going to write this here and hopefully, I will get something better than “we understand your frustration, we apologize for the inconvenience”
On the 16th October 2018, I called Renault & Kia Service Centre Tygervalley and told them my breaks are making a funny sound, and that a petrol attendant said I did not have enough oil in the car. They booked me in for the next day Wednesday the 17th October 2018. I was there at 06:20 am, I was the 3rd client in line. At 07:30 they opened the doors. At about 11 I received a call to repair chips and how much it would cost, I authorised that. I then asked how far are they with the car and I did not get a straight answer. At lunchtime I called and my service consultant was on lunch and the person who answered said they will give her a message to call me back. She did not. At 16:40 when I was 2 minutes away from this branch she then calls me to tell me my car will not be ready today because she had just sent requet for approval from liquid capital. She never told me why was the third car moved to being done last. She never told how was I going to get to work the next day. They delivered my car the next day during lunch on Thursday.
Fast forward to Saturday the 19th October my car broke down on the N1. I called roadside assist and a truck was dispatched. I was told the car would be taken to Stikland branch. Monday morning I rush there because in my mind the car was there since Saturday and all I wanted as to leave knowing the car is being handled as 1 in line so I can get a diagnosis. When i get there my car wasn’t there. Apparently the branch was closed and the truck guys kept it. I am directing my complaint to Renault S because these guys are your service providers. They never bothered to call me and tell me this. I then had to call them and ask where I the car, when will it be dispatched to Stikland and they told me roadside assist need to authorise that again. I called roadside assist and got that done. I was told I need to give the branch 72hrs for a diagnosis. It is Friday today, 5 DAYS LATER and I do not have a full diagnosis, I do not have a car or a courtesy car from Renault. Did I mention I was told its taking long to look into the car because they attend to it when they are done with service cars for that day!!!! So in essence my car is not getting the urgent attention it needs. No one gives a rats regarding how inconvenienced I am by this. I guess to everyone in that branch I probably bought the car to decorate my garage with it.
So can I get answers not apologies.
