DO NOT SERVICE YOUR CAR AT RENAULT DEALERSHIPS ESPECIALLY MIDRAND BRANCH

I took my car in for service in July 4 at Midrand dealership and then there were issues apparently with the car that were not communicated with me and requested a thorough explanation of these issues. I took my car back in July 17 as agreed to also do a system reset as i was complaining about fuel consumption and also update my maps app. Only to find out that the issue reported during my service was not the same, they indicated thermostat leak but on July 17 , they say its not that but the gasket, i indicated ow come they change now and i was not given a direct answer. They further noted something wrong with my clutch, i asked why was this not identified during the service, the lady assisting me said she requested they do a thorough check. This clearly indicates to me that Renault Midrand is not doing their job properly and thoroughly, if i hadn't returned the car, i was not going to be told about the clutch, of which they were probably waiting for a breakdown so that they expunge money from me like they did with the Thermostat and Fan. What was worse is that they didn't place my windscreen wiper properly back specifically the drivers side after the car wash, and it broke, i noted this a week later as i hit the wipers indicator by mistake, i went straight to them the next day and informed them of this incident, I spoke to Dion Delaharper (Workshop former) who called Sanele Gumede(Service Manager) and they blatantly told me that they will not be taking any accountability. They said once the car leaves they not responsible, however that cannot be entirely true as if they break something they must be accountable. Two ladies from Renault SA called and promised to get this matter resolved, and I indicated that I need it resolved ASAP as the rainy season is approaching. To date nothing has been done, this shows Head office condoning such poor poor services and condone the lack of accountability. I am now forced to purchase new wiper of which mine were still new and original brand. Do yourself a favour if you off their service plan, take the car to your own registered reputable RMI.
