Changing opinions

I recently was in the market for a new car, albeit something cheap and cheery

Having approached a number of the usual players including VW, Suzuki, Toyota, Fiat, Nissan I was less than enthusiastic to what was on offer or their lack of interest in what I was looking for.

As a last resort I figured I should give Renault a crack, having read the reviews and opinions of Renault SA I was not all that enthusiastic. I went along to Bryanston Renault with the same objective of the other suppliers - to buy a car.

Having met Rory on my way in I was pretty clear - I was looking for new or demo Sandero or Cleo and I had a trade in...

Within 20 minutes I had the an honest low down on the products, differences, proc cons on offer. At which point we agreed on the price and settled.

Point is the lack of arrogance, willingness to engage and good understanding of the product and it pitfalls was very refreshing and the reason I bought the car. I acknowledge it is a Renault, but perhaps being the underdog you are more likely to accept and resolve the issues.

Longevity of the product, it aint bullet proof, probably comes with a tin of glue but why pay a premium.

Thanks Rory
