Buying a Pre-owned repayment instead of a Pre-owned car

<p>I have recently purchased a pre-owned Suzuki Ertiga from Renault Randburg by trading in my Renault Megane, as my wife and I are expecting our first baby. This sounds like a happy story but instead all I have currently is a Renault Kwid that was handed to me yesterday which was on reserve this morning, due to it being given to me basically empty. So effectively I am paying for a car I don't have while things that should have been fitted and sorted out are done by the dealership. I was told initially that everything was done and I could come pick up the vehicle on 28/07/2017, instead the extras were not fitted, the license disk was expiring by the 31/08/2017 and the car wasn't properly cleaned.</p> <p>As for yesterday I was rushed out of work during my lunchtime as I was told my ID had to be presented urgently(this was not requested on the Friday) and I could leave my car in for the outstand work to be done and a car would be ready, after a 20 min wait and some shouting a got the keys to the above mentioned Kwid. This was an unnecessary delay and caused me to run late for a meeting. Also I had to request to leave my car in rather than take it back on the Wednesday for all outstanding work to be completed. And yes everything was to be sorted out in a day.</p> <p>In liaising with the manager he tried to help the situation but his solution to all my issues is to do everything that was supposed to be done originally by the 05/08/2017 and offer for me to come by with the Kwid for them to put in fuel. I have basically only succeeded currently in increasing my monthly instalment and dragging my pregnant/nauseous wife to dealership to see our new family vehicle that was not properly cleaned not delivered with the extras and finally we have to wait patiently with the Kwid until the dealership gets their act together. Is this really the level of service one should have to deal with when buying a pre-owned vehicle? Also shouldn't service be the differentiating factor when comparing dealerships as in my case price and most price is not. Lastly would you want a happy life changing event to be ruined by poor service, if you do I recommend you try Renault Randburg Pre-Owned Sales...</p>
