Brand new kwid brakes

I bought a brand new renault kwid. My brakes lasted only 9800km and i had to replace them and pay for it otherwise i did not have a car. It is unacceptable for brakes to last that short amount. I have been speaking to renault sa for a week and nobody got back to me! I hope you have a solution for me! Because this in unacceptable! It didnt even last until my first service!
