brake pads

<p>I purchased a Renault Kwid in December 2016. today the 02/06 not even 6 months have passed and the brakes needed to be replaced. i havent even done my first service yet and the brake pads are worn?</p> <p>the cost to replace brake pads is R1800. just a few rands shy of a service. for brake pads? anyway i was advised to call the renault help desk and advise them on my query as to why the pads wore out so quick. i was told that it because of safety standards and no asbestos in the brake pads. i spoke to leo ndabambe (could be spelling the name wrong) quite a sarcastic gentleman. is this the service i can expect from renault? </p>
