Bad Service and Experience with Renault Stirkland

In August 2015, I bought a brand new Renault Captur from a Renault dealership in Tigervalley, Cape Town. Around December 2016 I started experiencing some problems with this new car. On the 29th of December, I took my car to Renault Pardon Island to have it checked, as it was indicating on the dash board that I should take it to the dealership. On the 6th on January 2017, they returned the car and infomed me that they could not detect the problem on car. I took the car and drove it, but the problem persisted.

At the end of January I took the car back to Renault Pardon Island to have it checked by another Renault dealer and get a second opinion. On the same day, they returned the car and advised me to have it booked in for about 2 to 3 days so they can do a thorough check, they also suggested that I check other multi franchise and get them to check it.

On the 27th of Februray, I took the car to Renault Stirkland to have it checked by them. When I got there I insistead on getting their technician to drive with me for some time to ensure that he understands what was my challenge. Indeed he came with and after sometime he looked suprise and mentioned to me that he was not sure what was the problem or where did this funny suond come from. We went back to the service station (Stirkland Renault), and they have had my car ever since then till todate.

What is more frustrating for me is that poor communication by Renault to inform me as their client on the progress on the car. To crown it all, they have a consultant/ advisor who replaced Salome who recently resigned. Chad's attitude and business ethics stinks. He is very rude and will never inform or update me on the progress of the car.

This car has been at renault for almost 2 weeks and they don't even give me a cartesy car or at least un update on the progress of the work they are doing. Renault Stirkland has had the car for so long and they have no desency or try to make plans.

This is now so frustrating for me, worse still this car suppose to be new, it was only one year four months when it started giving me problems, yet I have paid my installements in full montly without fail.

Kindly assist on this matter.

Thank you

Ntombekhaya Mbuqe

083 **********
********** **********
