Ask questions and test drive the Kwid onnthe freeway before you decide to buy.

I bought Kwid at Germiston Renault. The service was unbelieveable. Until i left the premises. The first problem was fueling the lights seem to go out even though its full. The dashboard has alot of icons not relevant to the car itself its either for the turbo or other Kwids. Seems like all the Kwids has one dashboard even though you not driving automatic the icons will be there. At first i didnt know this and reported that a few icons i fidnt unddrstand and is not working like the safetybelt indicator. I drove the car for just about 2 and s half weeks when the car was dead i battled to find the problem only to find out that within 2 weeks the remote battery ran flat. I bought 2 new batteries on the saterday i replaced the battery and on the monday 2 days later the alarm made like a flat noise so i changed the battery again. On the tuesday i wanted to start the car when i saw no lights no indicators on dash is working and a injection management light came on all this within the first 3 weeks. Furthermore this car and all the others wether its tyre size or factory fault or it was just simply cost effective the car swerves on the road if you drive beyond 110km. When i asked Renault why wasnt i told about this issue the car has i was told that if they did they wouldnt sell any cars. When you buy a new car you dont expext to have any expenses but it looks like either you will have to put bigger mags on or just drive less than 110 all the time. Surely if a Company Like Renault , and their staff knows about a that could be a life saver and they with hold that info just for the sake of the sale they are wrong. At the same branch a Kwid was brought back due to swerving and the client didnt feel safe driving the car she exchanged the Kwid for a Sandero. Again another customer before me and i was kept in the dark. Basiclly i had the car for 2 and a half weeks not even number plates yet but it went in for REPAIRS. Nice asset.
