Apple carplay doesn't always work!

Bought a new Renault Clio V Intense + option pack and the Apple CarPlay doesn't always work. We have tried multiple iPhones and multiple cables. The local Renault garage says there is nothing wrong with it, but we climb in and start the car and do all the connection and then Carplay is not working. It doesn't work for longer than it does work.
