Airbags not deploying in an accident

I was involved in an accident where a truck hit me head on. My Renault Sandero that I was driving sustained damages and was written off. That is all good and well, but I have a safety concern with regards to the cars that Renault is selling. No airbags were deployed when I was involved in the accident
