Airbag Failure in Renault Stepway

I am writing to formally express my disappointment and concern regarding a serious issue with my Renault Stepway. When purchasing this vehicle, I was assured that it was equipped with front and side airbags for safety. Unfortunately, my wife was recently involved in an accident while driving the car, and shockingly, none of the airbags deployed.

Given the severity of the crash, I strongly believe that the airbags should have activated. I have attached photos of the accident, which clearly show the level of impact. Thankfully, my wife was not severely injured, and even more fortunately, my young daughter was not in the car at the time. However, this incident has raised serious doubts about the reliability and safety of Renault’s airbag system.

I am extremely disappointed that a vehicle marketed as having essential safety features failed in such a critical moment. I request a full investigation into this matter and an explanation of why the airbags did not deploy. Additionally, I would like to know what steps Renault will take to ensure this does not happen to other customers.
