Dear K****tso, thank you for taking the time to let us know of you concerns. Can you please advise which unit number and complex name / building name you are referring to.  We will investigate this immediately as we are not allowed to bill you anything other than the tariffs stated by NERSA (National Energy Regulator of South Africa).  Best Regards Antoinette

Dear K****tso, it has come to my attention that you seem to be using the incorrect reference number when making payments and therefore your payments were not allocated correctly. We will have to allocate them manually now. Unfortunately this comes at a penalty charge of R 30 per transaction. Please do ensure that you use the correct reference nr in future to avoid all this confusion and additional charges. Best Regards Antoinette

The electricity meter switch off test was done as arranged with you and it shows that the meter only records what is going on in the unit as that is what it is dedicated to meter.  To determine the cause of the increased consumption we would suggest checking the appliances or getting an external electrician to site that can assist with checking your geyser and appliances.

Best Regards Antoinette

Good day K****tso,  We have gone through your questions and complaints logged with us and would like to address the high consumption charges you urgently seek assistance on. The meters installed on site are smart electricity meters which measures usage on an hourly basis. These readings are compiled into our system and bills every day’s usage one day in arrears (what you used yesterday is billed today). These electricity meters are installed on the main incoming cables for each unit. This means that the meter registers the total usage of the unit, it can’t determine “what” used the power (we can’t say if it is the fridge, the geyser, the TV or a heater as an example).
You can access ALL the billing information and the consumption graphs to manage your usage via the online dashboard: Link                        https://rms.remotemetering.net/residentialdashboard/ Username           the email address as registered on the wallet Pin                          as received via SMS upon registration (resent today to the cell number registered on the unit).
