Remote Metering Solutions ****s.

I recently moved from a unit at Etude in Midrand that I was renting for over a year to a new unit that I purchased in the same complex. I had electricity in the old unit and asked RMS to transfer my electricity from the old to the new unit. I filled in a transfer form and sent it to them but they have been switching off my electricity daily since last week when I came to the new place. When I call I keep being told that the transfer has not been done yet and I end up having to sit without electricity and charging my phone in the car. I want to know why they are not doing their job properly because I have bought the electricity. Nobody gives me a straight answer and Sometines when I call they pretend to not be hearing me properly. I want my electricity to be switched on with immediate effect because it is not my fault that some guava is not doing their job properly. I am sick of this.

Dear Nakisa,

The matter is being investigated and an ismrt! agent will contact you shortly to assist you and ensure your smrt!Wallet transfer is completed as well as your credits if any are transferred to your current smrt!Wallet for your new unit.

Kind regards,

ismrt!Team

The problem that occurred was explained to me ( something that should have been done from the beginning) , and I was told to rectify certain issues on my side, but even after I did that I’m still sitting in the dark. The WhatsApp service that RMS uses is useless because they just blue-tick your request and go offline without any explanation. I made payment of R350 today but my power has not been restored. I am getting frustrated with their service. It is cold and I need to cook. Why is it so difficult to help clients at RMS?
