Refund still not paid to me 2 months later
The complex that I am living in had moved over to a new prepaid meter supplier for both water & electricity. I had already loaded funds on the old RMS prepaid meter prior to receiving the new 1 so we were then asked by the building manager to complete a cancellation request and send through in order for me to get a refund which was meant to take about 30 days to be finalized and paid.
It's now 2 months later and each time I follow up I get a different ETA, 1st they said 30 days then it was 45 days, now they say 60 days. This is unacceptable and is causing an inconvenience to me, can I please ask that we please get this refunded ASAP?

06 Feb 2025, 14:43Dear Leanne,
Thank you for reaching out, and we sincerely apologise for the delay in processing your refund. We understand how inconvenient this has been for you.
Following the transition to the new service provider, we received a special request from the new service provider after the termination date to transfer credits to them. However, we required the instruction to come from the managing agent and, unfortunately, we never received any feedback from them, which resulted in the delay.
That said, we have now processed all refunds, and they are scheduled to be released from the bank via EFT tomorrow for customers who are due credits from RMS. We regret that this has taken longer than expected and truly appreciate your patience.
Please be assured that we are continuously working to improve our processes to prevent such delays in the future. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out.
Best regards,
