Incompetence redifined

Remote metering solutions is a company that is very very evasive with regrds to their charges and billing. You get given the "company acceptable" explination with no resolution, and that is if they answer their phones. Recently my power was switched off due to late allocations and this was just 1 thing in a whole line of problems related to this service provider over a period of 2 years!!! I shudder to think what I am going to find when I review my account since inception. I would advice anyone to do business with this comapny. I am also now going to petion our body corporate to get rid of these ******* as well as request from the public prosecutor' s office to do a forensic audit. It is ludicrous that people get done in like this and I for one won't stand for it!!!!

Hi Nikki. Our billing system is 100% transparent, which means that you can see exactly what you get billed, when you get billed, how much you consume in half hourly intervals and even what your expected consumption is, based on your current consumption detail. All of this is provided, in order to assist you to better manage your utility account and expenditure.

You will receive a low balance notification via SMS once your meter reaches R150. This is to assist you in reloading you meter with credits before it reaches a minus and switches off. According to our records, you do not load credits after receiving a low balance notification, but you do an EFT payment once your meter is almost in a minus. Kindly note that because EFT payments are loaded manually, it takes up to 48hours to reflect on your meter. We therefore encourage our users to load credits via the cell phone application by dialling *120*47678# from their registered cell phone number. Credits loaded via your cell phone will reflect immediately.

In order to prevent you from being disconnected in the future, please reload credits onto your meter after you have received your first low balance notification. Since you are making EFT payments, please send proof of payment to our help desk team at *** for them to load your meter with the balance paid within 48hours.

Your reply is not true and once again reflects your "spin" on what have transpired. I do no longer believe anything you are saying. We will see what the indipendant forensic audit results show?

Strange that the other complaints on this page reiterating what I have said, so I guess we are all wrong hey?

Also explain to all reading these posts how you explained my power being cut because of late allocations, that's if they remember to, or how your after hours number went unanswered, even though it was advertised. Then let's get to your receptionist who didn't answer the phone for 50 min, and then when she did at(16:50) note that I have phone since 16:00, sje assured me that my call would be returned, which it wasn't. Then let's get to the late notifications with regards to low balance, your company billing runs in arrears which results in incorrect notifications being sent to clients, and to remedy this Mr Coetzee in his infinite wisdom, decides that it is acceptable to speak to clients in a manner that I will not tolerate!!!

As I have said you will obviously spin the storie you want in order to redeem your companies short comings (keeping in mind that they pay your salary).

I stand by my resolution that your company needs to be audited and I will say it once again, I shudder to think what will come out of this.

I have been in contact with your company for the last wee**** The only resolution that got me was Mr Coetzee informing me quite rudely that it is no fault of RMS dispite me explaining to him the obvious ( which he obviously) didn't get or didn't want to comprehend. So I see no point to further engage with your company or waste anymore of my time or money to educate your staff on the basics of customer service or etiquette. I was left with no option but to turn to Hellopeter and other social media voice my experience and frustration following no resolution from your company. I reiterate what I have told Mr Coetzee I will now use all other platforms to have this resolve note his reply to the before said is "go ahead" (very professional) ?
