Lack of Communication

I went to a pharmacy where I normally get my Wife's chronic medication and to my surprise that I can no longer get the medication. Their explanation upon being called by the pharmacist is that the medication is no longer under their list of chronic medications that my wife is suppose to get. Upon querying why were we not informed about this the guy I spoke to by the name of Zola told me that communication was sent last year already and on this brochure he was talking about there is nothing that states the medication my wife is using will be no longer on their list but what it states is that "Acute medicine: Subject to the Remedi Standard Option Network medicine list". That is all it says and for me it does not mention anything about the medication being no longer under their list and the sad part is that my wife has the last pill and the Pharmacy had stock but cannot give me because of the reason I already mentioned. For the this is my wife's life at risk because of the lack of proper communication for a big institution as this one and they need to be called into order and by the pay I pay for medical aid. When I requested the list the answer was that it will take 3 working days for it to get to us. For me that is just not acceptable as this is chronic medication that my wife cannot go without it.
