Remedi vs DRC
This is so frustrating. My son just went to the GP & Dentist and has been advised that he is not active on the Medical Aid. He recently turned 21 and I've had to confirm that he is still studying. That went smoothly and they confirmed that he will remain a dependent. This was great until my son had to go to the Dr & Dentist. When the GP tries to confirm membership with DRC, they are advised he was removed from my medical aid since Dec 2025??? I've been on calls between the 3 parties, (My GP, Remedi & DRC) with no joy. Remedi confirms he's active, DRC says otherwise. So what am I paying for???? What if he had an emergency?? Would this be out of my pocket??
