3 months on No Goods and No Refund

Purchased and paid for Inverter on Friday 8 July 2022. Then discovered that you have to go through an entire import process from China. 6 weeks later Chinese shipping company communicated that the taxes had not been paid by Reliable and that delivery would not take place. Reliable, at the same time, said that the goods had been ******. I requested a full refund on 25 August and made alternative arrangements at great financial cost. I was further inconvenienced when the product was delivered just as 29 days had elapsed. I drove to their offices on two occasions to return the product which was no longer required. I was assured and given a document confirming these facts. The refund was meant to be completed by PayFast within 10 days. The latest excuse is that Covid has infected the office and staff members are not available to process refunds.
