Poor service and Disappointments

I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment with the ongoing issues I’ve been experiencing regarding my module changes. Despite multiple follow-ups with student advisors, I have not received the assistance I need. With just a few weeks left before assignment submission deadlines, my modules have still not been updated, which is putting me under extreme pressure. I believe it will be nearly impossible to complete three modules in such a short time.

Furthermore, I had clearly communicated earlier that I would not be able to afford the payment amount quoted. It is very confusing and disheartening to see how a fee of R3,000 suddenly escalated to R14,600 without proper explanation. To manage this, I had requested a course change that would suit my financial situation—again, no action has been taken.

To be honest, the level of service I’ve received over the past three years has been deeply disappointing. I love being a part of Regent and appreciate the quality of education offered, but the support system leaves much to be desired. Once payments are received, it often feels as though the care and support for students disappear. Additionally, the attitude of one of the student advisors was unacceptable and made an already stressful situation worse.

I kindly ask that this matter be treated with urgency. I also request an extension on the upcoming assignment submissions, as it is not fair or reasonable to expect students to write three full modules in a matter of weeks without the proper support and access to the correct coursework.

Please help resolve this issue as soon as possible. I am still committed to my studies and would appreciate the opportunity to succeed with the proper guidance and support.
