I would like to complain about the incompetency of this institution and I’m now stuck and don’t know what to do, I enrolled for a degree 2011 and because of financial issues I was on and off but ended up completing my degree in 2016. During the completion of my degree I had an ordeal where I was told I had asked failed a model and asked what was the reason behind that and the answer was “ unfortunately we can’t tell you why because you are owing school fees” okay I took what they said then enrolled to studying that module , completed that module and to my surprise , I actually found out that the reasons behind failing that Module where wrong( said I failed because I didn’t give in assignments)🤦🏽♀️I had all evidence that proved that I did and they mixed marks , it was a mess!!! So I told them I wanted to be compensated for my time cause I spent a whole year doing something I had passed and all of this could have been avoided if they had told me the reasons for failing that model 🤦🏽♀️I wanted to take legal actions but due to finances I couldn’t. So today 2022 after 6 Years ,I go there and tell them I’ve got a job opportunity and all I need is a confirmation letter stating that I completed my degree and an email address so that the company can request a transcript and I said I will then settle any school fees owing and the lady was so rude and said “we don’t do that please pay your fees” and I’m like “pay you how if I’m not working ?” I even told her that the school fees amount is not correct cause they have not compensated me for my time wasted , repeated something I didn’t fail , I was not okay then said “ I will see what I’ll do and she rudely said “ GOODLUCK “ . With the unemployment rate so high and when you are given an opportunity to work then be told we can’t assist you with a confirmation letter or a transcript via email between the institution and the company . I’m confused 🤞🏽And I’m defeated by how things are done in this institution honestly.
