I lost my job because of Regent Business School and incompetence thereof.

Regent has got to be the worst decision I’ve ever made for my schooling career.

Like many others, I had failed a module in first year without being in formed that I failed, then I was allowed to continue to study in 2nd year and 3rd year, other institutions would not allow you to proceed in following year without completing the failed module. Then, I was part of a recruitment process of a certain company and I submitted a transcript which reflected that I had completed my qualification- this transcript I got via email sometime in Nov 2023. Then, the company conducted verification check to my surprise the transcript was unverified. I then made contact with regent, I was informed my fees aren’t paid up therefore they cannot assist me. I paid the last bit and able to access my unofficial transcript on the student portal days after payment made, to my surprise the transcript differs to the one sent via email- therefore this was a case of verification discrepancies during my recruitment process, therefore I was automatically disqualified from the recruitment process and lost my job. I demand for Regent to explain why the difference in transcripts to the company since I was under the impression that I have completed my qualification! However like many others who complain they don’t respond to call or queries. But when there is money involved they will NEVER miss that train. I will take them to the ombudsman should they fail to explain to the company within 7 days.
