Heartbroken

Re: Bad service Good day Regent Business School Management It is with great sadness that I am writing this plea for help and urgent resolution from Regent Business School. On the 11th May 2020, I enquired from Vusokuhle Mthembu, whether I can complete my Financial Management module within the June 2020 exam semester. Vusokuhle Mthembu, called me the same day advising me that unfortunately it cannot be done this way even though I explained that the nature of my request stems from a major job assignment that may take me out of the country for some time. . I left it at, but my employer and a major UK based insurer are working together on a new Short Term Insurance Qualification Programme and I was nominated as a member of the delegation for my work in designing and getting approval from INSETA and SAQA on my course design. I therefore contacted Professor Osman on the 25th May 2020 for his assistance and again followed up on the 14th June 2020 as now my employer has informed me that the level of the UK insurer based collaboration requires me to have the NQF Level 8 qualification completed or at least at the stage of awaiting results. I than on same day send this same email to Student Support and get a response on the 15th June 2020 with a number of persons copied in who would provide me feedback as soon as possible. Guess what? I got feedback on the 24th June 2020  Michelle Padayachee advised me that I was approved to write the module earlier as requested and need to complete an attached “special assignment” and submit it by 3rd July 2020. I asked why a different assignment as I at that time already have completed the January 2020 Academic calendar assignment of Financial Management. Michelle, than asked that I send it to her, as she will arrange that her manager approve it as I explained the urgency of doing it in order to go on the UK collaboration project. I followed up on 28th June 2020 and 1st July 2020 as I had no clarity from her (also sent her SMS and called thrice to cell phone number provided by your Durban office). Eventually on 2nd July 2020, Michelle Padayachee responded to say she is still awaiting feedback from management and will ensure she keeps me posted. I also on the 1st July 2020, emailed *** who Michelle informed was the email address I must use to book for my earlier exam. The person facilitating this email address responded without mentioning who he/she is and now on the 2nd July 2020 asking me whether Michelle have me a “special assignment” or did I do the academic calendar assignment and which calendar do I have January 2020 or July 2020, I said January 2020 and also informed that although I got it I already gave Michelle the calendar assignment and await approval to apply for exam. He/she said I may apply to write Financial Management exam in August 2020 without my assignment being marked yet and that the assignment I must now submit on the 15th July 2020 and it must be the “special assignment.” I said I will work on it, but this is all too confusing for me. When I updated my employer on the 3rd July 2020, I had to accept no longer standing in line for the opportunity. What assignment must I complete?????? A. Michelle said she awaits approval. B. Support6@Regent says I must do “special assignment.” C. Today on my birthday the 4th July 2020, guess who emails me a Financial Management assignment? The very first contact person, Vusokuhle Mthembu. What did all of the above result in? 1. I am no longer a part of the UK collaboration project as I fail to meet the Financial Service Conduct Authority of UK’s standards. 2. A 3-5 month international networking opportunity. 3. Considerable credits to my CV and experience. What do I expect? 1. Urgent and comprehensive feedback on: a. Which assignment? b. When am I writing the exam? 2. Public apology via LinkedIn 3. A call from Ahmed Shaikh - Managing Director - Regent Business School, so that I can explain to him how I oversee both the Western Cape and Eastern Cape training almost 1400 intermediaries, learnership and staff students per year (e-learning courses, contact classes, FET Certificate in Short Term Insurance NQF Level 4, FSCA Fit & Proper and CPD courses) with impeccable admin and service that is evident from by 4.83 out of 5 rating with only 4 reporting staff. 4. Should you have alternative resolve for 2 & 3 I welcome your feedback.

As the former Snr. Manager of Complaints for the largest short term insurer. I am without a doubt stunned, broken and embarrassed to have associated myself with Regent Business School. Your Enrollment Manager: Mr Brandon Governdor saved your reputation today, although his mandate is limited in many respects. May this unfortunate event, never have to happen to anyone else. It was not resolved, it was pacified by me seeking my own peace of mind versus having to fight your proven lack of service quality.
