Disappointment

I have just completed my Bachelors degree with regent Business School to discover that there will be no graduation ceremony in Cape Town (or even Joburg for that matter). They advertise and rah rah about how important and what a right of passage the graduation ceremony is but are not mentioning that they don't make the ceremony very accessible in even the major cities.

While the content and exams are fair, I felt the customer service over the years was poor. You had to always follow up on everything, getting the assignments, then the dates then the webinars, then the exam dates then the results of assignment then the results of exams, every single semester. When you called customer services to follow up, the answer would always be "it will be out on friday" but friday would come and go and it would not be out, then the same thing the following week till eventually about three weeks late the stuff would come out.

I am glad to be done with my degree and would have liked to celebrate with the institution but they have made it impossible to do so and done it in my opinion in a rather secretive way. Happy to say I am completing post grad with another institution which has proven so organised that I can barely believe it, feel a bit sorry I did not go with them to start.

So Regent, this review is basically as a result of me having the last straw with unanswered emails and the unfulfilled promises.
