Red Data - Pay for services you don't have

My initial call with Red data was your typical sales call. Cold, fast, and hard closing. I was offered 2GB a month at R89. Pretty good deal considering the high rates when it comes to data in South Africa. This R89 was repeated through out the phone call, to assure me that the amount was all I was going to be paying. Fast forward to my debit order date 25 November 2017 - R89 went off along with three other debit orders that I did not agree to. My data was supposed to come in on the 1st of December, and nothing came. When I called, they explained that they had been experiencing some technical difficulties. I decided that i no longer wished to receive this service, and also queried/ cancelled the other unauthorized debit orders. Mind you, no managers take your calls, despite the bad service and attitude received from consultants. Fast forward again, on December 22 2017 I get debited again, with all the same unauthorized payments. When I call in to dispute it, I get told that i cancelled too late (i cancelled on the 5th of December) and i had to pay for data I DID NOT RECEIVE in December which i already paid for in November. Still does not make sense because technically, if i was still a customer i would be paying for January in December. Nevertheless, nobody told me i would be debited despite my cancellation and to top it off the consultant was rude again. By all means, go for Red Data if you'd like to be debited and **** to. I was told i could cancel at any time and no money would be taken from me. This is juts the worst experience ever... with absolutely NO remorse shown. It is all just too *****. I feel sorry for everybody else that might be naive and ******** to this. Once bitten, twice shy, 3 calls, 5 times the debit order.
