Think carefully before you waste your money!

Before you go a waste your money with RMS, be sure to have a proper business plan in place and do thorough research before just buying an online store that's all set up and ready to go.

It's sounds simple, easy and all kitted out but I assure you it's not, it'll require so much time, money and tools to try make it work.

You can easily set up a basic dropshipping store using many other sofwares and programs. Programs that will give you full freedom and flexibility to create your webpage as you please.

RMS are beautiful and somewhat user friendly but come with great limitations. Your dashboard will be on WordPress and even through there'll be widgets to make the store your own. The RMS team will warn you that you'll be adding these integrations etc entirely at your own risk.

What they put together for you is pretty much all you have to play with, if you want free flexibility to make your own custom webpage. Think very carefully before purchasing a store that's already set up.

You'll be able to make basic changes but if you want to add in any trending features or webpage functions, be prepared for the frustration and stress it'll possibly cause you.

I will say that RMS will honestly provide you with everything that you need in terms of the store, customer support and many video tutorials. Their customer support team are a lovely bunch of people and they will assist as best they can.

The one lady that I had a 1on1 session with really showed so much empathy when I lashed out with anger and ended up breaking down because of endless hours of hard work trying to get something to work but no matter what I tried, it had no positive results.

I then realized that RMS was not for me and had to learn to accept the loss of everything I invested into my RMS webpage.

In an entire year I made 2 sales and that was purely because I put a lot of funding into Google ads.

Boosted ads on Facebook and Instagram only increased my following. Whatsapp business did not bring in anything. Gum Tree was a waste of time along with all the other platforms that I used and wasted money on trying to advertise trending products.

I used multiple AI programs to establish best selling products to promote items with higher chances of sales.

I worked endlessly on website SEO and spent more money on that but still no return on investment.

I had a business account all set up, registered my entire business and did every possible thing to make my business as legit and trusted as possible.

This is not a quick fix, get rich kind of business. It requires hours of work for very little return unless you figure out how to get constant sales. I was highly active on social media and tried all sorts of interesting marketing tactics. Got a lot of interaction but no sales.

Sadly I wasted a lot of money on this highly promising dropshipping concept and also had an added feature to sell dropshipping stores on behalf of RMS. I got a crazy amount of interest on Gumtree advertising their stores but you'll get messed around and probably not sell any stores in the end so be prepared for that.

I probably spent about R80 000 in total trying to make something of my store and in total made back about R2000. It's not as easy as it seems but I still believe that it is possible, just ask Jeff Bezos to give you tips on how he made a sucess of owning a dropshipping store.

I tried all sorts of ways to better my store, after watching so many YouTube tutorials that at one stage I converted my entire global store to a South African based store with SA suppliers and sadly still no return after paying integration fees and monthly subscription fees.

RMS was a complete waste of time and money in my opinion.

I started a new company with less capital to get started and its thriving, huge return on investment.

Being a dropshipper did nothing for me but i feel wasted a year of my life and got me in a lot of dept in the hopes for a good return on my investment, consider becoming a supplier instead. It was a damn expensive lesson and I wish I knew what I know now before to blasted all that funding into a dead horse.

I love being a supplier and thankfully it's paid for all the debt I had after buying into RMS.
