Unfair penalty charge

On Thursday I caught feeder from Lake view to Jabavu F3. before I alighted realized the tapping out machine was not working and could not tap out. This morning at Thokoza Park station I explained to them I need to tap out since I could not on Thursday because the machine feeder was out of service. They could not help me stating the new law has been implement which does not allow tap out and in on station. I argued that nit was beyond my control because the machine was not working and I have to penalized because I tapped in without tapping out.
