Penalty Fee

Can the Rea Vaya management ensure that all buses that operates around always have a functioning card tapping system. If the card system is not working why should the bus operate. I am not happy as the system was not working yesterday for F9 bus to Pimville. This morning I forgot to tap out yesterdays trip and got penalized R50. Why do I have to be penalized when its their system that was malfunctioning. Its not the first time this is happening. Or implement a cellphone app one can use if the system is not working or to check the status of the card if it need to be tapped in or out.
