DRIVERS BAD ATTITUDE
This morning between 08:57 and 09:32 whilst on the Rea Vaya bus, Bus F12 501, Parktown via St Andrew Street. The driver passed my stop where there was a clear sign that Rea Vaya buses stop there. when I asked him why is it that he passed my stop he responded by saying I didn't alert him that I needed to get off. What is the point of having designated bus stops if the bus is not going to stop when it gets there? Why should I scream out for the bus to stop at a designated bus stop? Where is the convenience of taking a Rea Vaya bus if I now have to stay alert of bus stops and scream out I need to get off?? If you ask a bus driver to get off at a place where its not a designated bus stop, they shout and tell you its unacceptable and yet we as passengers have to alert them that they need to stop at bus stops??? The manner in which the driver responded to me is totally unacceptable as he was rude and told me he cant do anything about. This inconvenience caused me incredibly. In a taxi I need to shout when I get off, why should I do the same in a bus that has designated Bus Stops? If we have to shout when we get off, buses should have signs that tells us to do so. Such a poor service!!
