Ouma Buttermilk Rusks: box full of broken pieces, and a WhatsApp complaint line that doesn't fit

I ordered a 450 g box of Ouma Buttermilk Rusks (sliced) on Checkers Sixty60 on 9 October 2026. When I opened it, most of the rusks were broken into small chunks. Photos attached.

At R67.99, that's disappointing. It doesn't matter where I bought them. It's an Ouma product, so I'm looking to RCL Foods to sort it out. I've had rusks delivered by Woolworths and never had a broken one.

I tried the RCL customer care WhatsApp line first, but it's an automated form with fixed questions or "NO", and nowhere to explain the problem.

*****After I sent the ***, it asked me for an *** and halaal details for chicken products. For rusks?

Please look into this batch and contact me to resolve it.

Update: Some words were hidden above, so to clarify: after I sent a photo of the product code on the box, RCL's WhatsApp line asked me for slaughterhouse details and halaal information for chicken products. This was a rusk complaint. Also, Hellopeter doesn't allow photo uploads, but I have photos of the broken rusks and can send them to RCL directly.
