Extremely poor customer service

I must say that I’m very disappointed with Sunshine Westgate, I bought Feta cheese last week and when I got home wanted to use it, I realized that it was expired. I returned to the store and they asked me what’s wrong with the cheese, I said it has expired and he just looked at me funny and called one of the cashier to give me a refund. I then asked him if his not going to apologise for the inconvenience cost or asked me if I want a refund or exchange. He said to me why must he apologise because it’s not his problem. His not the one that is supposed to apologise he doesn’t even care if I ate it and got sick its not his problem. I was very shocked to receive such service. The store manager was extremely rude. As I was exchanging words with him one of his assistance said to him should I get someone to remove her/me out the store. I was shocked and puzzled clearly they don’t care about customer service. Customer centric does not exist at sunshine Westgate, or is it because they are an independent store so they think they are above the law.
