What A Surprise That This Type Of Service Is Still Doing The Rounds In This Day And Age.

Good evening I was compelled to give a star to continue with the review. The idea was to not give any star any at all. On Thursday 3rd of April 2025, I sent an enquiry form to Rawson Strandfontein for the attention of Ms Rene Davids. Not long after wards Ms Davids responded to my query with a telephone call. Ms Davids asked when she could call me.

I then let Ms Davids know that anytime is fine, and then we can set up a date and time to discuss my matter. I am interested in an evaluation first, then the sale of my property in Portlands, Mitchells Plain. I told Ms Davids I was a bit busy, but I will speak with her anytime, and we could then set up a date to meet.

Ms Davids called back and undertook to call me on Monday, the 7th of April. Monday arrived, and I waited all day for this call to happen. Nothing was forthcoming, and so Tuesday came along. Nothing again. Today is now the 9th of April, and still, nothing has happened. Of course I now decided to report this matter as I am totall bewildered by such behavoiur in a professional environment.

I am recently retired as a Senior lecturer in Hospitality and Business Studies, therefore my shock and suprise at this kind of treatemnt from a property consultant/professional is still reverberating off my brain. What is playing out right now is exactly the kind of service and behaviour I lectured about.

To be on the receiving end of this type of service boggles the mind. My first thought was that Ms Davids was involved in something VERY serious to treat a client like this. Also, this type of work takes place in a team setup, therefore, an appointment can be easily passed on to a colleague if need be. But in this case, still not been a peep until now (10:10 pm).

I sincerely hope Ms Davids has a very good reason for this type of behaviour. We are not dealing with a loaf of bread, but rather a 3 bedroom property in a suburb. I was not hoping to put a shack on the market.

I have nothing further to say, but one thing is for sure: I am not doing business with any RAWSON PROPERTIES in my life.
