Very bad and inconsiderate service

I was sorely disappointed in the way Rawson Properties in Northriding Johannesburg handled and is handling our rental contract. My wife and I have had extremely bad experiences in our complex at the Hyperion in Northriding Johannesburg North. The complex's deterioration over the period of our stay over the past two years has been dramatic. From Drug deals going on at our front gate, to unruly and inconsiderate neighbours living above us also heavy drug usage and abuse, to the amount of un-parented households and rampant children, to reckless driving in the complex where children have nearly been knocked over and unmanageable noise levels. The situation has gotten so bad that living there has become a hostile and unsafe environment for us and our two year old child. The emailed correspondence of our complaints to the holding company and Rawson Property was extensive. Rawson was never available to handle or help with the issues. So when my Wife and I decided that we can no longer stay at this place we corresponded with Rawson Properties Northriding that we want to cancel our contract early. We were then given no consideration and got handed a letter of demand for the forthcoming month - My credit record now tarred and feathered, without any consideration to our situation. It just goes to show that Estate Agents of this nature only want to accommodate when you are looking because they want your money but when you and your family are unsafe and unhappy then they wipe their hands of you (and your family) - Terrible, terrible social and morel standards Rawson Properties Northriding!
