Unreasonable requests, inane responses
I enquired about letting an apartment that Rawsons had advertised. The demands made by nevin are totally unreasonable, and the reasons given make no sense at all.
I was asked to complete an application form, send in my ID, 3 months bank statements and my payslip, merely to view the property.
I understand that these are required should I take the property, but what if I don't?
I was told it is for security in case I attack the agent showing me the place. Really? Really? Really?
I then enquired according to the POPI act, what they would do with my information after the viewing, should I not take the place.
They don't even know what the POPI act is about, nor the requirements.
Maybe Rawsons should become more customer centric, and start understanding the impact of their inane requests.
This is not an acceptable scenario for me.
