UNPROFESSIONAL, ********* AND DISRESPECTFUL SERVICE

We have been dealing with Rawson Kuilsriver for the past 2 and a half months, by using an agent that has been assigned by our executor of an estate/testament, in which we as heirs/children didn't have a choice with to regarding the agent, until his mandate expires.

This agent has been unprofessional, inconsiderate and have no respect for my time, and has never showed enthusiasm to sell the property. We only had 2 viewings in this period of 2 and a half months, and after the 1st viewing, he said he was going to put up a For Sale sign, which would have happened that time when he was just appointed. That sign only came up a month later, after we requested it again. He then, only after I have mentioned how other agents from other agengies have been operating & selling houses next to and around our property, organized to arrange put the house on show. This once again,only happened upon our enquiry/request. In the beginning, he was late for an appointment where he was supposed to meet up with the "photographer" who came to take pictures of the house. He only arrived when they were basically finished with taking the images. We also complained about the imagthe house, and asked him to review them, giving him additional images which represented the house better, which he just simply ignored, even after he agreed to it.

The worst was this past Saturday, 3 August 2024, he had arranged to put the house on show, for the first time, after more than 2 months. He was supposed to be here at 11h30, since the show was from 12h00-14h00. He tried to call me at 11h30, the time he was supposed to be here, and leaving a voice-mail which I could not hear properly, since he speaks very softly and making it difficult to make out. The little bit I heard was that something came up, and he will be there around 12h30-13h00. At around 12h30, he calls me to inform me that he was on his way, only arriving here at about 13h45. His excuse was that he was busy with rentals, which is completely unacceptable, unprofessional and irresponsible, and not even mentioning the disrespect shown for my time and our situation.

As I've mentioned before, this house is part of an estate/testament, and it we have lost both our parents in less than 2 years, and whilst I have been dealing with a lot of stress, trauma and sadness, especially with the initial death of my beloved mother, these services and "professionalism" shown not only by the agent, but also by your agency, has made it even worse, physically and mentally. The agent, by the name of Buntu, upon his very late arrival, didn't even ask and just assumed that he could make up for the time, by continuing his show from 14h00 until around 16h00, indicating yet again of his negligence, incomprehension and unprofessional behavior. This after I've explained to him that he had a commitment to myself and my siblings, and also explaining the severity of the situation. There's more to this situation than what I've described/explained in this review, and I believe that anyone who would hear the extension, would think twice before committing to you, or that agent. There's been a complete lack of communication, professionalism and understanding in this situation, and still is, and I would recommend that anyone looking to assign an agency, especially for an estate, which would involve cases of sadness due to loss of loved ones, or if you are included as a heir in testament, think very carefully before you assign an agent, and should you be fortunate to choose your own agent, dk so carefully. It is not ethically right to be treated in this way, after the loss of our parents in such a short space of time, and if you are a parent, looking at drawing up a testament, please think carefully of what the implications might be for the loved ones you leave behind, because no child should be dealing with these unpleasant situations while still mourning and dealing with all the stressful things associated with the death of someone close to you.

I hope that anyone from the public can learn from our unfortunate situation and experience with this agent, and Rawson Kuilsriver too.
