Sell Gone Through and Cancelled , Bad Communication from Rawson

I received a call from Liana telling me that the cash paying person that they had in place has now backed down and cancelled. After the conversation I told Liana I was not sure about the sale due to the riots. I will speak to my husband and get back to her .

I then sent her a text message on the 14 July telling her if the property is still available I will take the house , in our discussion it was never mentioned to me that the cash buyer is still in the process , I signed my offer and both the seller and the purchaser signed a contract which was only going to lapse if my bond was not approved within the required time.

I went ahead and app**** for the bond , which was approved and we were in the process of finalising the process. I then got a call today telling me that someone has made a cash payment and therefore my contract is no longer in place .

I have gone through my contract that I signed and nowhere in the sale conditions was it stated that I am in second place .
