Rawsons Northcliff is run by *********

I've already written about how pathetic the Northcliff branch is, but our newest interaction truly tops it.

We contacted Charl from the Northcliff branch about a new listing that had gone up for rental, after days of trying to contact him to get a viewing we were met with a message saying "I am at my Christmas party. Please contact me on Monday" (this was in the morning, during working hours).

We tried to contact him over the weekend for a viewing, but he turned his phone off. We tried again on Monday and Tuesday, but we're met with the same experience. We contacted the Northcliff branch to ask if it were possible to get a viewing without Charl and after complaining, we were told that he would be removed from the listing due to his shocking behaviour.

After nearly 2 weeks of daily enquiry, we were contacted by Charl to view the place on a Saturday. Confused but still interested, we said yes and met. We were told by the proxy of the owners and the agent himself that we'd be the preferable tenants for the place, only for us to find out on Wednesday that they rented the place out without having sent us a contract or telling us that the there were other parties interested.

This whole process has solidified my opinion that Rawsons are a money-hungry, ********* business that hire unprofessionals so handle properties.

As soon as my current lease is up, I'll be avoiding them in future.
