Rawson Rentals Sandton ********** and highly unprofessional

I rented a place managed for the landlord by Rawson Rentals for two years and have had nothing but terrible experiences with them. The specific agency I was dealing with was Rawson Rentals in Sandton and the agent Ms Adriana Cilliers. Requests for repairs took a long time to be processed and I wasn'ttaken seriously, when I moved in I was promised a clean flat, but was handed over a dirty place without any notice, but the worst thing for me is that for the past 6 weeks they have refused to pay back my deposit, stating that their finance department only came back from their holiday mid- January. For over a month I've been promised that my deposit will be paid ("We will pay this week"), yet nothing has come through. Then all of a sudden they tell me that I'm owing rent for one month in April 2018 (10 months ago!!!). I sent them proof of payment for that month, yet nothing has come through. This is a clear breach of the contract, which states I should be refunded my deposit 7 days after move out if there are no claims and 14 days after move out in case there are claims. I'm taking legal actions now, but am writing this to warn other people not to rent through Rawson Rentals and also because I've seen other posts on here that state the exact same issue with the agency (deposit not paid due to one month rent outstanding).
