Rawson Property Group Rondebosch Cape Town Auction Service

Don't be fooled by the auction service Rawson offer. They promised a lot when we signed a sole mandate saying we would receive marketing across a variety of property listing sites. We were not on all the sites and our information on the one site was not the full description we suggested. When we asked them to update the info it was not done and we were constantly asked to lower our reserve price which we duly did and guess what?? It was not updated. If it was not for us having to do our own audit we would have never known. Communication via email and the WhatsApp group we were asked to join was hit an miss. Sometimes you would get a response. All in all a terrible experience. We signed a sole mandate for 40 odd days and we were asked to take our ad down off a listing site which cost us R2000. We didn't even make it into the Rawson monthly auction!!! I mean that was the whole point! We had one person interested the whole time and not to mention the copied and pasted weekly feedback email. I kid you not we were in March and they sent a feedback email mentioning what a great October and November they had. Poor effort.

It felt like the agents just wanted us on their books to show their management to make the quota. Once we signed there was no effort. I asked them to place us on their auction site without signing a sole mandate as they had wasted our time and money but management said no.

Do not bother with the Rawson auction service it is a big fat waste of time. Their management didn't seem to care either so I guess it trickles down to the employees.

Goodbye Rawson, never again!
