Rawson Horrible Properties

Rawson Properties Edenglen is ********** to deal with. They manage the property I am currently renting in Kempton Park Terenure and show very little compassion for their tenants and lack communication skills. My December bill for rent was sent to me and I paid the due amount to the very last cent. On the 4th of January 2022, they sent me an email with an outstanding balance of R1160. This was surprising as the amount outstanding was not included in my December invoice and clearly this was an error made on their end. After emailing them on the same day I asked for feedback and wanted to know what to do about the matter and I was told someone would get back to me. It’s is now the 15th of January 2022 and nobody has been in touch with me. I have tried to load electricity on my prepaid meter and I cannot do this because each amount I buy electricity for goes to the arrears automatically. It is a weekend and none of these agents are available in their office and now I am sitting in the dark for a mistake they made. Not only have I been put in financial detriment but when asked for a resolution to this situation they failed to provide me with one. I am at a point where I refuse to pay the outstanding balance. I want them to remove what they have as arrears and turn my electricity meter back on. Should I need to stay in the dark any longer I will take this to the police.
