I didn't get my 3600 deposit

I had started staying in richardsbay in March 2015 in a one bed room apartment my argent was Jesse from Rawson property I paid 3600 for deposit and 3600 for rent it happened that I have to move out without my lease being finished and I called Jesse during October telling him that I will move out on the end of November he come and inspect the apartment and it was fine he tell me I will get the 3600 deposit within 7 days I wait and nothing happened he send an email with the lease that I sign he says I won't be able to get the 3600 deposit because we move out before our lease on 1 year finished while since then we tried I call him and we never got our deposit Rawson property I never wish I meet one of their argent 3600 in drain so painful
